What an incredible day. 21 Clubs, 500+ boys and girls, all having fun and playing their hearts out at Sarsfields GAA. It was a huge success. The U8 Coaches would like to thank the Sarsfields Executive Team, Club Community, Parents, and Volunteers for all their hard work and dedication, without you yesterday would not have been possible. 

Why do we do it? There are 2 main reasons. Firstly to give our boys the opportunity to test their skills against opposition from some of the most prestigious clubs around Ireland and secondly, to enhance the profile of our club. 

Considering that it was broadcast on TV3 - Ireland AM, radio stations, local newspapers and right across all social media platforms in addition to being attended by multiple government politicians, it is safe to say we have more than achieved both of our goals. 

A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors for your generous donations (too many to list out). Without your support, the day would not have been possible. 

We also want to extend our gratitude to the teams who travelled from Antrim, Armagh, Monaghan, Cork, Dublin, Carlow, Offaly, Wexford, Galway, Wicklow, Kildare, Meath and Tyrone
